A Legacy of Flavor & Community
In 1970, Jeff Casey set out to build something special in Boise—his first of many businesses. A decade later, in 1981, he opened the very first Café Olé Restaurant & Cantina in the heart of the 8th Street Marketplace, bringing bold flavors and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to the community.
Over the next 44 years, Café Olé expanded across Idaho, with seven locations serving up signature dishes and unforgettable experiences. Today, two locations—Boise Towne Square Mall (opened in 1989) and Meridian (opened in 2013)—continue to thrive under the leadership of the second generation, carrying on Jeff’s vision.
Beyond the restaurant, Jeff was a dedicated advocate for Boise’s growth, actively involved in the Downtown Boise Association and Buy Idaho. His passion for community remains a cornerstone of the Casey family’s commitment to the Treasure Valley—just as it was one of Jeff’s proudest achievements.
At Café Olé, we’re honored to continue his legacy, serving up tradition with every meal.
